Your program
- 10 am : Pick up in the morning at yout hotel (Starting 10am). 40mn drive from Bordeaux to St Emilion
- 11 am : Enjoy a guided tour of Saint Emilion. We will step back in time and explore the streets of this unique medieval village. Admire the panoramic view from th bell tower overlooking the village and the vineyards. Next to the tourist office, take the time to enter the astonishing collegiale church, and its 12th century cloister, one of the most well preserved in the region.
- Your guide Ludmilla will then guide you through the lower village, to walk to the King’s tower, and to learn about the time of the templar’s order, the Jurade or the ladies gossiping around the several wash houses of the village !
- 12.30 am : Free time for lunch and shopping in the village (about 2hours).
- 2.30-45pm : We meet back with our driver for a wine tasting in a Château, classified Grand Cru Classé of Saint Emilion. Learn about the wine making process, wander through the vineyards, visite the cellar and learn about the history of the family owning the estate. This tasting includes three wines of the Château, among them one Grand Cru Classé. (About 1hour)
- 5 pm : Estimate time of arrival in Bordeaux.
